Makeup (and all other 'beauty' products) use the marketing strategy that  women are full of imerfections and that we must paint over, enhance, pluck, shave, tighten, lighten, darken, dye, straighten and curl our way to acceptance and beauty. 
They work to exploit and make women society's dress-up dolls and eye candy-- and we fall for it.  We've become distracted from life, from the things that matter.  Wipe it off and never paint over your beautiful face again.
